Webinar: The EU Data Act

On 27 November 2023, the EU institutions adopted the Data Act. The regulation aims at establishing harmonized rules on “fair access to and use of data”. It is clear already that the Act will go well beyond regulating the “Internet of Things“ (IoT). It will, for example, bring “access by design” and “data sharing obligations” for connected products and related services, and prohibits hurdles for switching between similar cloud computing services.
