Each associate has a mentor, who can answer career questions and provides regular feedback. Other experienced colleagues will also provide new associates with feedback in order to encourage their development. The significant freedoms given to our junior colleagues, such as direct contact to clients at an early stage, are a fundamental element of our success.
Happy employees are key to success. We take advantage of the opportunities provided by digitalisation to offer each individual greater flexibility. This helps facilitate a good work-life balance and lets our team members reconcile family with working life. Partners, too can work part-time or from a home office should they wish, and adjust working times to suit their personal circumstances. We even changed our articles of association in order to make part-time models applicable to equity partners. We view this as an important step in clearing the way to partner, particularly for women.
Environment and community
Environmental protection and the conservation of resources are firmly anchored in the daily life of our firm. We endeavour to work in an environmentally friendly fashion at all times, for example, by considering our CO2 emissions in work trips or paper and energy usage, and we do our best to keep these to a minimum. Of course, we also fulfil our social responsibility. Our motto in this respect is “think globally, act locally”: our offices regularly support charitable organisations in their area.
