2023 ADVANT China Outbound EU Investment Forum – M&A or Greenfield?

For almost 3 years we have not been able to meet in person and we are therefore particularly happy to announce our 2023 ADVANT China Outbound EU Investment Forum. China and Europe have moved on and businesses reduce exposure to supply chain interruptions by building up production capacities closer to their customers. Other drivers for investments in Europe are the accelerated transition to green energy for the industry as well as digitalization and AI. In 2021 the top national law firms Altana (France), Beiten (Germany) and Nctm (Italy) joined forces to create ADVANT, a leading European legal advisor with more than 600 professionals covering the three largest European jurisdictions. With a presence in China since more than 25 years and offices in Beijing and Shanghai, ADVANT is a partner of choice for Chinese companies investing in Europe. We will analyse recent developments in the legal framework for Chinese greenfield investments and M&A activities in the EU with our experienced professionals as well as distinguished guests including speakers and representatives from national embassy and consulates and investment promotion agencies. High-ranking representatives of Chinese companies will also share their investment experience in the EU.

The Forum will also allow guests to meet one on one with representatives of the law firms.
