Munich, 22 December 2020 – The international commercial law firm BEITEN BURKHARDT has advised Hellenstein SolarWind GmbH, a subsidiary of Stadtwerke Heidenheim AG enterprise group, on the acquisition of two wind turbines of the wind farm Lüdersdorf II in Brandenburg. The parties have agreed to keep the transaction volume confidential.

The two wind turbines of the Lüdersdorf II wind farm acquired by Hellenstein SolarWind GmbH have a total output of 6,600 kW. The wind turbines feed more than 13.3 million kilowatt hours (kWh) of CO2-free electrical energy into the grid each year. This amount of regeneratively generated energy covers the annual electricity demand of about 4,400 households and at the same time corresponds to a saving of about 13,800 tonnes of CO2 per year compared to energy generation in a conventional power plant.
