Kamil Karibov on the topic “Key amendments to legislation in construction: on the road to digitalization”

On 21 November 2018 a Business Breakfast was held on the topic “Key amendments to legislation in construction: on the road to digitalization” in Moscow, organised by the RBC Information Agency. Over the past few years Moscow has been one of the driving forces for the implementation of reforms in the construction sector, carrying out methodical work aimed at the reduction of administrative barriers and digitalization of processes. During the discussion the participants discussed the following issues:

  • How will amendments to the federal legislation affect the issue of permit documentation?
  • What are the development prospects of the industry in the era of digital transformation?
  • How did amendments to administrative procedures affect Moscow’s investment cli-mate? What international experience is it important to consider during the implemen-tation of new legislative initiatives and what can be improved?

The event was attended by Natalia Antipina, State Secretary and Deputy Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation, Sergey Levkin, Head of the Department of City Planning Policy of the City of Moscow, and representatives of Russian and international companies.
