BEITEN BURKHARDT and Bilfinger Tebodin conduct joint conference on the topic "Construction project technologies and management: New practices and prospects"

Held on 24 June 2019 the conference was organised by BEITEN BURKHARDT and Bilfinger Tebodin. The event also had the support of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which also provided its premises. The conference attracted significant interest from representatives of the construction business. Experts in planning, design, construction, consulting and jurisprudence discussed topical issues that arise most frequently during the implementation of construction projects in Russia, including: issues related to the develop-ment prospects of BIM technologies on the Russian market, different forms of construction contracts and the specifics for drafting such contracts, and how to structure a procurement strategy for the implementation of EPCM/EPC/PMC projects. One of the goals of the event was to discuss industry issues that are of equal concern both for the representatives of the construction and consulting sector, and also their potential clients.

The speakers included Vasily Chekanov, Director of the Construction Department of PAO Sberbank, Kamil Karibov, member of the Real Estate Practice Group of BEITEN BURKHARDT Moscow, Vyacheslav Senichev, Director of Business Unit Engineering in Russia and the CIS, Bilfinger Tebodin, Alexander Bezborodov, Attorney-at-Law and Partner, BEITEN BURKHARDT, Dr Norbert Richter, founder, Richter Business Consulting, Professor Irina Lvovna Vladimirova, Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, and Natalia Ivanovna Gaidaenko Schaer, arbitrator of the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.
