BEITEN BURKHARDT Advises Private Investors on Acquisition of a Majority Interest in Optik Hallmann Group

Munich, 28 January 2016 – The international law firm BEITEN BURKHARDT has advised GHG Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbh on the acquisition of a 81 per cent majority stake in Optik Hallmann Group from its managing shareholder Andreas Hallmann. The purchase agreement was concluded in November last year. The parties have agreed not to disclose the transaction volume.

GHG Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH with registered office in Graz, Austria, is composed of a group of private investors who intend to support the independent continued existence and the targeted growth of Optik Hallmann group in future. In the vision and hearing care industry this group of companies operates eleven own stores and holds interests in four other stores in Northern Germany and Denmark.

The Michael Pachleitner Group, the exclusive optical glass supplier of Optik Hallmann group, holds the remaining interest of 19 per cent.
