The Annual Human Resources Conference, organised by the Russian-German Chamber of Commerce, was held on 15 May 2019. This year the conference was devoted to the protection of employers’ rights. The conference was attended by more than 100 participants, including top managers and HR specialists from major international companies. Topics of interest such as the procedure for conducting IGL audits, contesting decisions to impose administrative liability, mistakes in keeping personal records, and interaction between the HR and accounts departments were discussed at the event.

Andrey Slepov, Partner and Head of the Labour Law Practice Group at BEITEN BURKHARDT in Moscow, spoke on the topic "Abuse of rights by employees and how to combat it".

According to the organisers, the purpose of the conference is for Russian and foreign companies to share experiences regarding their human resources policy and to search for tools to protect employers in case they are held accountable.
