Munich, 8 February 2021 – The international commercial law firm BEITEN BURKHARDT has advised SWT Verwaltungs GmbH based in Rain, Bavaria, on the acquisition and financing of the "K^ö8" shopping centre, the adjacent "Kultmeile" retail park and other neighbouring buildings in Köngen near Esslingen. The seller is the owner family of the fashion company AWG. The parties have agreed to keep the transaction volume confidential.

Anchor tenants are - besides AWG - Edeka and Maier Sports. The acquired land area is about 42,234 square metres, the five buildings comprise about 15,738 square metres of retail space, about 11,533 square metres of office and storage space, an indoor fun park with about 2,547 square metres and a car wash. The centre is located directly on the B 313 national road and the A8 motorway on Imanuel-Maier-Straße in Köngen.
