Sergey Morozov is Associate at BEITEN BURKHARDT's Moscow office and a member of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice group. His area of expertise comprises the resolution of commercial disputes, representing clients in state courts and international commercial arbitration, and also advising on issues of civil and procedural law. Sergey has extensive experience of representing clients in Russian state courts of all instances, and also in arbitration proceedings under the ICC Rules, the Swiss Rules of International Arbitration, the rules of the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation (ICAC), and also the rules of other arbitration institutions.
Sergey Morozov graduated with honors from Lomonosov Moscow State University, Faculty of Law, and obtained an LL.M. degree (Master of Laws) in international commercial arbitration from Pepperdine University School of Law (USA). He is also studying on a Ph.D. course at Lomonosov Moscow State University, Faculty of Law, specializing in civil law. In 2015 Sergey Morozov participated in a session of the International Academy for Arbitration Law in Paris, France, on international commercial and investment arbitration. In 2017 Sergey undertook an internship as a Foreign Associate at a leading international law firm in Washington, D.C., participating in international arbitration and U.S. litigation matters, and became the Young IMA Co-Chair. Sergey Morozov has been working for BEITEN BURKHARDT since 2011.
