Marco Tautorat
Career
Marco Tautorat is Partner at the offices of BEITEN BURKHARDT in Frankfurt and Hamburg and member of the practice group Banking/Finance & Capital Markets. His area of activity comprises legal advice on collateralised financings, including creation of the required security interests, as well as on the financial restructuring of companies. In this context, he performs the compulsory realisation of the respective security interests, if necessary, and/or assists the debtor in raising objections in case of legal action. He particularly advises his national and international clients on liability issues and disputes of board members and managing directors; he also represents his clients in court.
Marco Tautorat studied law at the Universities of Rostock and Berlin and was admitted to the bar in Germany in 2008. In the same year, he joined BEITEN BURKHARDT's Banking/Financial Law & Capital Markets Practice Group. Since mid-2009 he has also been focusing on the competence area of restructuring, reorganisation & insolvency. In 2013, Marco Tautorat completed his LL.M. at Queen Mary University in London.
