Dr Lars Querndt
Dr Lars Querndt is Partner at BEITEN BURKHARDT's Munich office and member of the IP/IT/Media practice group. His area of expertise comprises intellectual property law, press and media law, as well as technology law. He particularly advises his national and international clients on IP related disputes, licensing contracts, and technology transactions as well as on regulatory matters in the field of media and gambling law. Besides, he has gained knowledge in the pharmaceutical sector, in particular regarding health claims and genereal advertising law.
Dr Lars Querndt studied law at the Universities of Bayreuth and Leuven (Belgium) and was admitted to the German Bar in 2013. He spent parts of his legal traineeship at the General Consulate in Los Angeles (USA). He holds a master title (LL.M.) from the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid and wrote his PhD thesis in the area of trademark and antitrust law at the University of Bayreuth. He received a PhD scholarship from the German research society (DFG) to draft his PhD thesis. Dr Lars Querndt has worked for different international law firms in the course of his legal education. Since his admission to the German Bar in 2013 he has worked as a lawyer in the fields of intellectual property, media and sports law in an international law firm focusing on IP/IT law. He has been working with BEITEN BURKHARDT as Partner since 2019.
