Jan Dwornig
Career
Jan Dwornig is Partner at BEITEN BURKHARDT's Dusseldorf office and member of the Corporate / M&A practice group. His area of activity comprises mercantile and corporate law as well as commercial, transport and forwarding law. His main focus is on advising investors as well as commercial, technology and logistics companies, in particular the maritime industry. He also represents his clients' interests in arbitration and court proceedings. Mr Dwornig has special knowledge of Dutch law (Meester de rechten) and is a member of the Dutch Desk of BEITEN BURKHARDT.
Jan Dwornig studied law at the Universities of Münster and Osnabrück. In 2003 he passed his Second State Examination in Dusseldorf. He was admitted to the German Bar in the same year. Before joining BEITEN BURKHARDT, Jan Dwornig worked for more than 15 years in the Corporate/M&A department of various commercial law firms. Since 2020 he has been a Partner at BEITEN BURKHARDT.
