Dr Matthias Etzel
Dr. Matthias Etzel is Partner at BEITEN BURKHARDT's Munich office and member of the Corporate / M&A practice group. He provides assistance to mid-size, owner and family managed companies with international joint venture projects and Mergers & Acquisitions transactions. He further offers advice and support with strategic issues such as Corporate Social Responsibility, Corporate Governance for mid-sized companies, with conflict solution and business succession. Dr Matthias Etzel primarily consults on the areas automotive and mobility, chemistry, real estate industry, medical technology, food and consumer goods, media.
Dr Matthias Etzel studied law at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University of Frankfurt a.M. (Dr. jur. 1991) and at the University of Lausanne (Switzerland) and was admitted to the German Bar in 1994. In 2006, he qualified as a Licensed Specialist for Commercial and Corporate Law. Dr Matthias Etzel has been chairman of the joint board of examiners for "Licensed Specialists for Commercial and Corporate Law" of the bar associations of Nuremberg and Bamberg for many years. Since 1994, he has been working with BEITEN BURKHARDT, as a Partner since 2001. Dr Matthias Etzel is mediator and executor of wills.
