Career
Christian H. Werkmeister is Partner at BEITEN BURKHARDT's Munich office and member of the IP/IT/Media practice group. As licensed IP law specialist, his area of activity comprises in particular all aspects of patent, design and competition law as well as know-how issues. He has broad practical experience from former activities in trademark and competition law, especially at the interface to technical aspects and where protection from piracy is concerned. Further, he particularly focusses on the enforcement of industrial property rights in summary and infringement proceedings before civil courts in Germany.
Christian H. Werkmeister studied law at the University of Constance and specialised in the protection of industrial property. He has obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at the University Santo Tomás (USTA) in Bogotá, Colombia. Upon admission to the German Bar in 2013, he worked as Associate for a law and patent office specialised in industrial property rights in Munich. He joined BEITEN BURKHARDT in June 2016 and became Partner in 2018.
