Anna Afanasyeva is Partner at BEITEN BURKHARDT’s St. Petersburg office and a member of the Tax practice group. Anna Afanasyeva is a legal consultant with a strong financial and tax background, business oriented, and has substantial experience in the fields of industrial and public infrastructure investment projects, financing, customs issues and complex cross border transactions.
Anna Afanasyeva studied law at St. Petersburg State University (2001) and holds a Diploma of Accountant-Economist (State Professional Retraining, St. Petersburg Law Institute, 1998). She also has a Master’s in technical science (St. Petersburg State Technical University, 1996) and holds a Diploma issued by the International Association of Book-keepers (GAAP Courses of the International Banking Institute, 2005). She has worked for BEITEN BURKHARDT since 2006. Anna Afanasyeva previously worked as an attorney-at-law with a Finnish law firm, as a financial manager and at a leading Russian banking institution (Industry & Construction Bank).
