Sergey Morozov, an Associate at BEITEN BURKHARDT, participated in Russian Arbitration Day held in Moscow on 25 March 2019. This year, the event attracted over a thousand participants. Speakers at the conference including rising stars in arbitration from Russia, and also internationally-acknowledged specialists: Prof. Dr. Klaus Peter Berger, V.V. Vider QC and Audley Sheppard. Alexey Zhiltsov, Anton Asoskov and Roman Khodykin were the moderators.

Sergey Morozov spoke on the topic “Combination of arbitration and mediation during the resolution of commercial disputes (arb-med-arb)”, which is particularly relevant both in the global arbitration community, and also in Russia, in view of the reforms of mediation being implemented at present. Sergey also prepared an article on this topic for a collection of works on international commercial and investment arbitration.
