On 10 February 2020 a record on the establishment of Siemens Gas and Power Limited Liability Company – the Russian division of Siemens manufacturing equipment for the energy sector – was entered in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities. This step is an important stage in the global spin-off of Siemens’s energy business into a separate group which was first announced in mid-2019. At present the group is continuing its global restructuring.
