Dusseldorf, 26 July 2017 – The international law firm BEITEN BURKHARDT has reinforced its Dusseldorf office with Dr. Winfried Richardt joining on 1 August this year. Dr. Winfried Richardt comes from METRO AG in Dusseldorf and complements as Salary Partner the fields Corporate/M&A and Capital Market Law, also assisting with the management of shareholders' meetings, this way contributing to the systematic growth of BEITEN BURKHARDT in these strategically important core areas.

Dr. Winfried Richardt comes from METRO AG where he was head of the department Group Corporate Legal Matters within the Corporate Legal Affairs & Compliance division, reporting in this function to the General Counsel of METRO Group. He focuses his work on corporate and stock corporation law, the preparation and coordination of shareholders' meetings, corporate and group law-related projects, especially with regard to the structuring of holdings, capital market law, corporate and capital market law-related assistance with M&A projects as well as on legal aspects of investment management.
