BEITEN BURKHARDT: Russian Business to Be Concentrated in Moscow

Munich, 11 November 2020 – BEITEN BURKHARDT will fully concentrate its Russian business in its Moscow office and close the office in St. Petersburg at the end of the year. Natalia Wilke, partner and head of the office for many years, will leave the law firm.

"The closure of our St. Petersburg office is a strategic decision", explains Philipp Cotta, Managing Partner of BEITEN BURKHARDT, and adds: "We have decided to bundle our Russian activities at our Moscow office, where we have been successfully serving international and Russian clients throughout Russia for 28 years".

Natalia Wilke and we part in mutual amicable agreement and harmony. We thank her for the great work she has done for BEITEN BURKHARDT for over ten years as Head of our St. Petersburg Office and wish her all the best in her new position.

The BEITEN BURKHARDT Partnership opened its Moscow office in 1992 and was thus one of the first German law firms to be represented in the Russian capital. Various national and international publishers have for many years acknowledged the excellent legal advice and extensive market knowledge of the local experts. In future, the firm will centralise its outstanding market position and the attractive working environment it offers at one location in Russia and will continue to maintain and develop in this dynamic market.
