Munich, 07 December 2017 – The international law firm BEITEN BURKHARDT has advised Duetz Fashion Gesellschaft mbH and Duetz Einzelhandels GmbH on the sale of all shares in GANT DACH GmbH to GANT Holding AB. The Signing has taken place in October 2017 and Closing is scheduled for the end of December 2017. The parties have agreed that the purchase price will not be disclosed.

The Buyer GANT Holding AB is the holding company of GANT Group, a fashion group operating in globally retailing top-quality fashion for men, women and children, with up to 300 fashion stores worldwide, and online sales of goods as well as a distribution through external dealers and wholesalers.

Both Duetz companies are distributors for textiles and clothing of the retail trademark GANT in Germany. Through the new establishment of GANT DACH GmbH sales activities in Germany shall be bundled.

BEITEN BURKHARDT has provided assistance and advised Duetz Group on all legal aspects of the negotiation of the purchase agreement and its appendices. Furthermore, the Beiten Burkhardt team has attended the Signing and will be accompanying the transaction until the Closing has been completed.
