All-round News and Successful Networking on the LEGAL DAY 2016

Munich, 27 October 2016 – For the tenth time this year the law firm BEITEN BURKHARDT invited to the LEGAL DAY on Thursday, 20 October 2016. The annual event begins in the morning with a business breakfast and ends with a relaxed get together at the end of the day. Many lectures are given on the most various legal areas by national and international lecturers from BEITEN BURKHARDT's own offices and from its network of law firms.

This year participants were able to choose from a total of 22 interesting lectures on twelve legal areas and were spoilt for choice, while always two lectures were given at the same time. The Russian colleagues from St. Petersburg as well as lecturers from the US law firm Hunton & Williams LLP provided for international aspects. The topics of the German lecturers were of course dominated by current events. Topics were for example the BREXIT and the progressive digitalisation, as well as this year's legal changes, such as in the energy, health, and antitrust law sector.

The participants' feedback was positive throughout. A large number of participants knew the set-up of the event well, as they had attended in the years before. The LEGAL DAY satisfies the most various interests of the participants: They can either attend only chosen lectures which match their work environment, or obtain the big picture on many legal issues.

With an open door, many interesting and valuable guests, exciting lectures and culinary offers the day provided an exceptionally good opportunity to cultivate existing contacts or establish new ones.

We are looking forward to the next LEGAL DAY in June 2017.
